Cher Lloyd

Cher Lloyd was born on the 28th of July 1992 in Malvern. She has a younger brother, Josh, and also 2 younger sisters, Sophie and Rosie. Before she became famous, she studied 'Performing Arts' at Dyson Perrins CE Sport College. She also studied 'Theatre Art' at the Art Academy Stagecoach.

She competed at the British X Factor. After two unsuccessful auditions where she sang ballads, she changed her music style and did auditions in the seventh season of this talent show with the song called 'Turn My Swag On'. This was successful after all, because she succeeded and went to the next round. She became fourth and shortly after that, Cher got a record deal, with thanks to Simon Cowell.

In June 2011, her debut single 'Swagger Jagger' was released. The song was an immediately success and became the number one of the 'UK Singles Chart' and second place in the 'Irish Singles Chart'. Her second single 'With Ur Love' was released on October 31. This song became number 4 in England and number 5 in Ireland. Whereby her debut album 'Sick + Stones' peaked at number 4 in the 'UK Albums Chart' and number 7 in the 'Irish Album Chart'. She released her third debut single 'Want U back' on May 22, 2012 in the United States.
